USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist - Intermediate/2* Level Event Rider 
Sophie Miller is a passionate, hard-working young professional who is dedicated to the continued development of her and her horses. Sophie has worked with top professionals including Doug Payne, Maya Black, Shawna Harding, and Jessica Wisdom. Sophie is also a B-Traditional certified member of the United States Pony Club and has experience in hunters, jumpers, and fox-hunting. Starting and producing young horses and re-starting off-the-track thoroughbreds is a passion and skill of Sophie’s. Sophie aspires to compete at the highest levels of the equestrian sport and is dedicated to her continuing education in a variety of disciplines. 

Philosophy 

Sophie's goal is to create happy horses and happy riders. Her dressage background has proven to be instrumental in her success as it serves as a foundation and starting point for all disciplines. Sophie's philosophy is that understanding a horse's needs, instilling the correct basics in both horse and rider, and advancing at a safe and patient pace are the keys to success in the future of every horse and rider. Putting the horse first is the fundamental value at Denali Equestrian.

Meaning Behind the Name 'Denali'

Denali is the name of the highest peak in North America and is located in Alaska; the state Sophie's life and riding career began in. Denali means "the tall one" in the native Athabascan language. Denali National Park and Preserve consists of 6 million acres of wild land that culminates in the mountain. This mountain and state symbolize an important part of Sophie's life and shows how hard work and dedication change lives and open new doors.
