Ernie is a fun, all-around type who has done a little bit of everything! He has extensive trail riding miles, done working equitation, been to the beach, ridden in parades, and competed in numerous combined tests and Horse Trials at the Starter level. He is a professional in a show environment, consistently scoring in the high 20s/low 30s in the dressage and jumping clear rounds with his AA owner. He is very brave, has three lovely gaits, and a great jump! Ernie would thrive with an AA/YR looking for an all-around, low-level type. Not for a complete beginner as he does require leg to get going but is forgiving of rider mistakes. He enjoys variety in his work, absolutely loves being trail ridden and taken to new environments and experiences! Very easy-keeper, excellent manners in the barn and on the ground! Marty was imported from Ireland in the fall of 2021 and has been professionally started and produced in the US. Marty is as sweet as they come and has been developed slowly and correctly with his future in mind. He has a solid flatwork foundation with three correct, balanced gaits. He is brave, scopey, and ridable over fences. He has schooled water, ditches, and banks etc with ease, has been to several starter events, dressage, jumper, and even western dressage schooling shows. Very honest and careful jumper, could easily go up to the 1.0m or beyond in the jumper ring or be happy as an event horse. Bernadette KBF (aka "Bernie") is a 2015 16h chestnut RPSI mare by the Elite Hanoverian Stallion Bon Balou (Balou du Rouet/Argentinus) and out of a premium approved TB mare. Blingy and eye-catching, this young horse is as sweet as she is pretty. Bernie is registered with RPSI (now merged with Westfalen) and earned a Gold Premium rating at her inspection, scoring an 8.4 for movement. She has grown up with her breeder, enjoying a relaxing life living outside 24/7 with other young horses. Bernie was lightly started at 3.5 years old and then thrown back out to finish growing. Now at age 5, she has had 4 months of solid dressage basics training and is ready to enter the show ring.
Bernie is light in the bridle, has floating and comfortable gaits, and maintains a natural rhythm throughout the ride. Walk/trot/canter are well established, and she is now working on lateral work and simple changes. Bernie hails from successful jumping bloodlines, but she's comfortable as a dressage horse and is game to do 20m circles and serpentines all day long. We think she would be happy as a straight dressage horse, but she could also be a fantastic event prospect. This is a safe young warmblood who is a nice height to suit a variety of riders. She has just as much whoa as go with no lunging required, and she matures mentally and physically with each ride. You do NOT need to be a pro to enjoy this mare. She is well-suited to a confident AA or a YR working with a trainer. Hacks out quietly on the buckle with or without company. (The last picture is of her AA breeder/owner, riding her for the first time and having an absolute blast!) Sound and healthy with no vices. Shod in front. Lives outside 24/7 with mares or geldings and is an easy keeper. Not a boss mare - middle to bottom of the pecking order.
